YouTuber Jake Parr, 35, was touring the country with some friends when they came across the eerie boneyard in Kavos, a village on the island of Corfu, Greece.

The adventure lover from West Sussex was stunned to discover the host of forgotten vehicles - placing its value at a whopping £70,000.

He said: “We went on an exploring trip to Greece to explore some of Greece’s history.

"We come across an abandoned hotel with an old graveyard. It was very surreal seeing all the cars, bikes and other vehicles left to rot.

“There were old polos, Suzuki 4x4 Yamaha quad bikes, and many different vehicles.

"The hotel looked like they just left and never came back.

“They were probably about 70k, maybe more depending on what you would value them as they are very old."

After posting about the experience on his Facebook page, users rushed to the comments to share their thoughts.

One said: "It’d be so interesting to compare these photos with what it once looked like when it was in use."

Another joked: "Looks like Mother Earth is claiming back her land."

I found an abandoned car graveyard filled with motors left there for 50 years... there was even an old ambulance-

It is unclear what the name of the former hotel was, although one viewer claimed it was The Salanti Beach Hotel in Peloponnese.

The famously ramshackle abandoned hotel was originally designed to host nudists before local outcry saw it close down.

Abandoned buildings are no rarity in Greece - as Covid and economic crisis has seen many businesses descend into rot and ruin.

A 2020 hotel association survey estimated that 65 per cent of Greek hotels were likely to go bankrupt that year.

News of the Kavos graveyard comes as an underwater car graveyard was also discovered at the disused Powmill Quarry, with hundreds of classic motors submerged.

Meanwhile, an unusual collection of vehicles, including an old ambulance, was unearthed by Youtuber IMSTOKZE.

And another YouTuber, Sam Lucas, took viewers on a chilling tour of an abandoned race-car graveyard.
