It came after a leaked recording exposed Angel's behaviour towards a producer, which she branded a branding one a "f***ed up little c***".

Following the explicit rant Channel 4 bosses announced they were cutting ties with the pair.

However, next month they'll return to the channel with Dick and Angel's Secret France.

The series goes beyond their 19th century mansion as they explore the side of France that few tourists see.

Fans of the couple will see them back on television on Sunday, June 2 at 8pm.

The four-part series will be their last outing with Channel 4 as The Sun understands bosses are remaining firm on their ban.

An insider said: "Dick and Angel had filmed this series before the damming recording of Angel was leaked last year.

"Despite cutting ties with the Strawbridges, it was always the intention that execs would broadcast the show at a later date.

"Channel 4 have pulled back on publicising the series and haven't changed their position on working with Dick and Angel in the future after their internal review was completed."

At the time of the controversy, a spokesperson for Channel 4 said: “Following a review, we have taken the decision not to work with Dick and Angel on any new productions in the future.”

Production company Two Rivers Media backed the news, saying: “We can confirm that we will no longer work with Dick and Angel and cannot comment further at the moment.”
