Olympiacos vs Fiorentina LIVE SCORE – Europa Conference League final: Greek giants face Italians in Athens – updates
Good evening from Athens
Welcome to SunSport's live blog coverage of the Europa Conference League final between Olympiacos and Fiorentina at OPAP Arena in Athens - Kostas here and I will be bringing you all the action from Nea Filadelfia.
The Greek giants are looking to make history tonight by becoming the first ever Greek club to win a European title.
And manager Jose Luis Mendilibar has all of his stars available for this massive encounter with Francisco Ortega seemingly overcoming an ankle sprain he sustained at Aston Villa in the semi-finals.
Ortega is preferred at left-back ahead of Nottingham Forest loanee Omar Richards, who would start if his team-mate is not deemed fit again after three weeks in the sidelines.
That would make Richards the third Englishman to compete in a European final this season with Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham and Borussia Dortmund ace Jadon Sancho - on loan from Manchester United - set to lock horns in the Champions League final on Saturday.
Mendilibar looks set to use the same line-up he fielded in the first leg at Villa Park which led to a historic 4-2 victory for the Red and White.
The Spanish tactician mainly worked on passing, finishing and of course the high press that got his team this far in the last training session on Tuesday.
Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Italiano, on the other hand, will only be missing injured duo Riccardo Sottil and Gaetano Castrovilli.
Other than that, the only selection questions are in central defense, as one of Lucas Martinez Quarta and Nikola Milenkovic may have to make way for Luca Ranieri, and central midfield, with one of Giacomo Bonaventura and Arthur Melo may be sacrificed for Rolando Mandragora.
