The brunette beauty, who has over 87,200 followers on TikTok, took to the video sharing platform to show off the ‘rancid’ stain she found on her purchase, leaving many totally gobsmacked.

The content creator found what she believed to be a period stain mark on the crotch of the tracksuit bottoms - despite them being listed as in ‘very good’ condition.

In her short clip which has now gone viral on social media, Kat gave her followers a close-up look at the stain as she said: “I don't think anyone is ever gonna be able to top this.

“I've had the worst Vinted order in history, so I'm actually in shock.

“The Boohoo set of joggers and a hoodie, listed as very good. In the pictures, you couldn't see any stains or anything like that.

“So I've just received it. Not prepared for what the f**k I'm about to show you.

“I understand stains and little marks like this being missed, right? I've just turned them over to check the back.”

Giving viewers a close-up look at the stain, Kat asked: “How the f**k you gonna send out an item like that to somebody and list it as very good?”

Clearly in disbelief, she continued: “Is that period?”

Kat then explained: “I'm a woman, right, I have a vagina. I understand that periods happen and we leak, I understand that, no hate towards that whatsoever.

I thought I scored a bargain on Vinted – next thing I knew I was threatened with GUN by man who wanted to kill my family

“But how the f**k are you gonna list an item as ‘very good’ and send it out not only with a couple of stains, but a big f*****g m***e splash stain?

“I have a lot of patience when it comes to Vinted but how the f**k are you not gonna see that when you're packing it?”

How the f**k you gonna send out an item like that to somebody and list it as very good?

Visibly disgusted, she slammed: “That is f*****g rancid, mate, I actually feel like I need to go and have a bath, I need to scrub my skin.

“What is going on with Vinted? That is a story and a half. What the actual hell?”

Not only this, but Kat later shared: “Luckily because she cancelled the order I got my refund straight away BUT I can’t leave a review!! It’s a joke.”

Social media users react

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @kathrynhibberd, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 2.3 million views, 95,600 likes and 3,952 comments.

Social media users were stunned by the ‘rancid’ stain and eagerly flocked to the comments to express this.

Why I hate Vinted, a real-life view

Fabulous Associate Editor Sarah Barns opens up on why she hates Vinted:

It's the king of second-hand fashion but I hate Vinted.

There I said it. Yes, it stops items going into landfill. Yes, it helps create additional side-hustle income for many.

And yes, you can get things at bargain prices. But it is just not my (shopping) bag.

From personal experience, I've bought 'cheap' bundles of children's clothes only for them to arrive dirty and misshapen.

Plus, with postage and buyer protection they didn't feel like such a great deal. I much prefer going to my local charity shop or supermarket for kids' stuff.

I've also bought more premium high-street items - a dress from Arket and a skirt from Cos - only to find they didn't fit properly and the colours were faded.

I attempted a bout of selling stuff but gave up after my £110 Veja trainers got lost in the post and I spent two hours on the phone to Royal Mail.

A major gripe with it is that it still encourages you to spend, spend, spend. I'm not sure I needed the items I did purchase, I just didn't want to miss out.

Also, the reselling of fast-fashion items - a £5 Shein top on Vinted for £17.50 - makes me feel a bit queasy.

Clothes shopping has become a daily hobby for a lot of people when really it should be something that's done once or twice a year as a necessity.

But the 18 million Vinted app users clearly disagree with me.

One user questioned: “That is rancid, who does this?”

A second chimed in: “How do people not feel any embarrassment omg.”

Whilst another penned: “This is shocking.”

At the same time, many Vinted users opened up about their order fails.

One person said: “My friend received a plushie that was INFESTED with bed bugs. She had a whole infestation in her room and had to throw her mattress away.”

Another added: “I bought a pair of Hokas and they sent me a PIECE OF CARDBOARD.”

Meanwhile, someone else commented: “I bought a pair of jeans from Vinted. They were listed as new. Turned up with a white crusty patch in the crotch.
