Police confirmed the crash on X, writing: "N. Military Trail is closed between NW 19th St. and Butts Rd. due to small aircraft crash. I-95 overpass at Glades Rd. is also closed eastbound and westbound. Avoid the Area."

An office worker shared a shocking video of the crash, and warned Boca Raton residents to "stay away from military trail near the glades overpass."

"Possible plane crash right outside my office today. Shook the whole building," the witness wrote.

"Unfortunately I'm certain lives were lost here today. Thoughts and prayers to anyone who survived and the families of those who didn't."

In the video the witness shared, clouds of dark smoke can be seen spreading across the area.

Small fires were burning down trees that line the busy road, and a shocking video showed a car on fire near one of the burning palm trees.

In the distance, viewers can hear sirens ringing.

"It looked like a dive-bombing or something. It was weird; I heard it zooming by a couple of times...I think a plane crashed," a confused witness can be heard saying in the background.

Live footage shows fire trucks and ambulances surrounding the area where the fires seem to have been extinguished.

A charred car can be seen at the crash site.

Debris from the crash is scattered across the road and a railway, where most of the damage seems to end.

Police officers and firefighters were shown surveying the damage done by the fire and investigating the scene.
