England will face Denmark, Slovenia and Serbia in Group C at Euro 2024, while Scotland will open the tournament against the hosts Germany in Munich on 14 June.

The group-stage draw was made in Hamburg on Saturday evening, with the 21 qualified teams learning their fate next summer and three more waiting to join them through the playoffs.

Group B looks the toughest on paper, with Spain, Croatia, Italy and Albania drawn together, though minds may be put at rest by the fact that third-placed teams are able to reach the last 16.

After meeting Germany in the opening game, Scotland will take on Switzerland and then Hungary. England begin their campaign against Serbia in Gelsenkirchen, before meeting Denmark in Frankfurt. The final group game for Gareth Southgate’s side comes against Slovenia in Cologne.
