Paris Jackson makes major change in appearance as star’s more than 80 tattoos gone on Grammys red carpet
PARIS Jackson debuted a drastic change to her appearance while walking the Grammys red carpet.
Michael Jackson's daughter appeared to have had all of her many tattoos completely removed.
In reality, she simply covered them up with makeup.
Paris, 25, has 80 tattoos scattered across her body. But Sunday night, they were nowhere to be seen.
The model shared a behind-the-scenes video of the cover-up process to her Instagram, explaining in the caption, "CoverFX meant business when they said total cover cream foundation would have me covered."
The video began with her deadpanning to the camera, "Get ready with me for the Grammys."
Then, through the magic of time lapse, makeup was applied everywhere to make her body ink disappear.
Shining on the red carpet in a black Celine gown, she told ET that she made the decision to simply switch things up.
"I love my tattoos, I love my piercings, I love all the body modification stuff, art, and also sometimes I don't want it to distract from the art that is the fashion I'm wearing," she said. "And it gives the dress its own moment, you know?"
