A WOMAN reaching 60 has revealed the number one anti-ageing hack the beauty industry don't want to tell you.

59-year-old Vicky Derosa took to social media to spill the tea on the skin saviour.

She said: "One thing that the billion-dollar anti-ageing industry should be telling you to use, and they're not.

"Nobody ever talks about this."

The beauty fan said people only ever talk about what you apply on the skin - but that healing from the inside was just as important.

"Everyone's always trying to talk you into buying peptides and oils and masks and spending," she continued.

While the beauty industry makes billions every year, Vicky revealed you should quite literally be putting your money where your mouth is instead.

"Sardines - who knew - sardines," she exclaimed.

"Look, you don't have to eat them every day, I try to eat them at least three or four times a week.

"But if you knew how amazing sardines were for your skin, what they do to plump up your skin, what they do to give you glowy skin, you'd also be eating them."

Even if you hate sardines - the anti-ageing whizz recommended adding a small amount to salads or covering the taste with oil and lemon to get the benefits.

"Find a way to get sardines into your diet, because God, they're cheap, amazing for the body, so good for the brain, so good for the heart, and I'm telling you, you will see a difference in your skin," she added.

The benefits of sardines is varied - it's healthy fats are great for the body and can help give skin a natural glow says Dr. Angela Casey.

The dermatologist, told Huffpost that “fats and cholesterol are important components of our skin," and that sardines are great to add to the diet to boost these nutrients.

Thankfully, the hack is cheap enough for us all to do and you can pick up a tin of sardines for just 60p in Sainsbury's.

The clip on her TikTok account @vicky.derosa has gone viral with over 22k views.

People were quick to take to the comments and many agreed it was an amazing superfood.

One person wrote: "It's true."

Another commented: "Oh that's funny! I've been eating those for years, but I'm 65 and don't have a one wrinkle... a year ago, I was carded! I just laughed."

"You're absolutely correct I make sure I eat them at least twice a week," penned a third.

Others revealed they were willing to give it a go.

Meanwhile a fourth said: "Not my favourite food yikesss but I’ll try to fit it haha."
