‘That was a fix!’ rage The Chase viewers after ‘worst team’ triumphs against the odds
The Chase viewers were left furious and raged there had been a 'fix' after the 'worst team' unexpectedly won against all odds.
Bradley Walsh welcomed four new hopeful contestants who were hoping to bag the cash prize.
Sofia was nominated to compete with Shaun Wallace, 'The Dark Destroyer' for £4,000, with each person receiving £1,000 if they win.
And with just two minutes on the clock, Sofia managed to answer 11 questions correctly.
With a small advantage of one step ahead, the contestant set a target of 12 for Shaun to beat.
In the final chase, Sofia had six shots at stumping Shaun with questions he didn't know the answers to, and she successfully managed to do it a whopping five times.

Finding out they’d won £1,000 each, the team were ecstatic.
Bradley who was in shock at how well Sofia played, said: “You’ve beaten a mastermind champion by the way! So well played.”
“I played five of these Lazarus’ and that’s the first time I’ve lost," Said Shaun in disbelief that he lost.
But viewers were quick to label the episode as rigged when the team miraculously emerged as the winners.
Taking to X/Twitter, one wrote: "The Chase is surely a fix. No way that happened.”
A second added: "He either gave up or that was a fix. No way did he not know the answers to the Germanic language and Virgo questions."
A third chimed in: "That has to be the worst ever team to compete on #TheChase and still win? Terrible knowledge and strategy, then they pick the 19-year-old nervous wreck to play for the entire team. Well done Sofia, but shame on the rest. No clue what Shaun was doing in that final chase.”
A fourth added: "Well that was dreadful. One of the worst teams ever.”
A fifth wrote: "I'm calling it now, he threw that. Fix.”
