Netflix axes beloved comedy series after four series on screens – leaving fans devastated
NETFLIX has confirmed that it is axing one of its most beloved comedies in what has come as a bittersweet shock for fans.
The streaming giant has insisted that Spanish comedy Valeria will come to an end following its upcoming fourth series.
Valeria is currently filming its final episodes with the series expected to drop in full later this year.
Fans have been left unsurprisingly heartbroken at the move but the announcement has also provided some joy for fans.
Many viewers were in fact under the illusion that the show had already ended after misguided reports indicated that the show had actually been axed after its third season.
Whilst they are still saddened to be letting the show go, it has left viewers joyful that they have yet another series to enjoy.

Series 3 launched in June last year and fans had been unsure if the show would ever see the light of day again since.
Its axing comes as the show failed to generate interest among new viewers.
The launch of the third series was on a par with the second instalment but failed to grow its audience or attract any new interest.
Netflix's Spanish social media accounts confirmed that Valeria would be officially over after the impending fourth series.
A translated tweet read: “We want it for breakfast. To eat. And for dinner. #ValeriaNetflix will have a fourth and final season.”
Valeria was mainly a hit in its native Spain where it spend over 100 days in the top 10 most watched shows of the day and also found success in other territories including Turkey, Uruguay and Portugal.
The show first debuted on the streaming service in June 2020 with Diana Gómez, Silma López, Paula Malia and Teresa Riott leading the cast.
In the show, fans see a writer who is dealing with a bad case of writer's block and sees her go on a personal journey of growth and self-discovery with her closest friends.
