‘These are brilliant’ Lidl restocks their kids’ winter essentials that are ‘so epic they last years without wearing out’
FORGET bargain food - it's a kids' winter essential that parents are racing to Lidl for this week.
Mum Jen admitted she was first in the queue when the supermarket restocked their waterproof trousers, which are perfect for keeping children dry in the changeable weather.
"These bargain rain/mud suits are back in stock in Lidl," she wrote over the top of the TikTok video.
She then showed the trousers - which come with braces to ensure they stay up all day long - in green, pink polkadot and navy.
With sizes from toddler to eight years, the trousers are a bargain buy for kids of all ages, as they're just £6.99.
There are also rain jackets for £8.99, again in a range of colours and sizes.

"If you know you know," Jen captioned the video, adding hashtags including #forestschool - revealing another situation the trousers would be perfect for.
And other parents took to the comments section to share their own praise for the rainy day wear.
"They are epic!!!!" one wrote.
"We use them constantly and they have survived a full year without wearing out."
"These are absolutely brilliant!" another agreed.
"Honestly the best stuff for rainy weather!" a third added.
"Half of my nursery wears them.
"Cheap and durable and warm but not too warm."
"As a horsey mum who has splashed out on expensive brands... these are the BEST," someone else commented.
"We have a pair and absolutely love them," another gushed.
As someone else wrote: "Just bought these.
"Brilliant and I've washed them already and came up perfect!!"
"Saves me spending a fortune on them!!" another raved.
While someone else sighed: "Why don’t they do adult sizes!?!?!?
"Would be so good for festivals and camping.
"I’d have them in every colour!"
"This is so true, need them for festivals!" Jen replied.
And another mum added: "Can we ask Lidl for basic boys patterns without dinos/sharks/crabs/weird little slogan text?"

"Was just about to comment the same," someone else agreed.
"Like spots or stars will do, we’re not fussy but please god no more dinos or tractors!"
