  • Allen vs Chikadze - Round 2

    Allen is continuing to put the pressure on and is targeting the body of Chikadze well.

    Chikadze is doing a good job if pivoting when Allen gets him towards the fence and creating space for his kicks.

    A head kick glances off the dome of Allen but he takes it well and continues to press forward.

    Chikadze is happy to operate on the outside and pivot out of danger as Allen comes forward.

    But as I say that, Allen lands a good left hand. Chikadze drills the body of Allen with another body kick but eats a two-punch combo for his troubles.

    Allen ends the round with a hard body kick after eating a question mark kick.

  • Allen vs Chikadze - Round 1

    No touch of gloves between the pair. Chikadze opens up wth a high kick but Allen is wise to it.

    Allen catches one a few seconds later and pushes Chikadze back against the cage before landing a body kick of his own.

    Allen is trying to close the distance to ensure Chikadze doesn't have space to throw his kicks.

    But just as I say that, he lands a hard one to the body.

    Chikadze throws a spinning wheel kick but Allen moves out the way of the devastating attack.

    Allen gets caught with a flying knee with seconds of the round remaining before landing a teep to the jaw of the Georgian.

    An epic featherweight bout between Arnold Allen and Giga Chikadze is about to go down.

    This is my sleeper fight of the card and I fully expect it to deliver.

    Nathaniel Wood's win over Daniel Pineda has brought about the end of the prelims.

    The main card will get underway in a matter of moments.

    Nathaniel Wood gets back to winning ways with a decision victory over Daniel Pineda.

    The judges scored the contest 29-27, 29-27, 29-28 in favour of 'The Prospect'.

  • Wood vs Pineda – Round 3

    Wood has yet to land the combo that will take out the durable Pineda.

    Wood gets put on his back after trying to take the ground to the fight and is dealing with Pineda trying to cut through his guard.

    Pineda has done a good job keep Wood on the canvas, but I don't think he's done enough to win this.

    The horn goes.

  • Wood vs Pineda - Round 2

    Wood goes back to the leg kick well but Pineda matches him.

    A stinging three-punch combo from 'The Prospect' slaps the head sweat off Pineda's head and draws a big reaction from the crowd.

    Pineda looks knackered here And who can blame hm considering he's fighting at 3am.

    An accidental low blow from Wood briefly halts the action.

    But replays show Wood's teep appeared to land on the belt line.

    Wood floors Pineda with a calf ick and hurts him with a good right hand.

    Pineda goes down but returns to his feet.

    Wood drops the American again with a big left hook and looks to close the show with strikes from inside his guard.

    He'd be wise to let Pineda up rather than try to hurt him with ground strikes.

  • Wood vs Pineda - Round 1

    Wood opens up with two hard low kicks which force Pineda to shoot for a takedown.

    They clinch against the fence but Wood manages to force a separation.

    Wood snaps back the head of Pineda with a good right hand and narrowly misses with a follow-up left hook.

    Wood lands another good right hand and looks to land more follow-up strikes on the ground.

    But Pineda has done a good job of tying him up in his guard.

    Pineda manages to get back to his feet a few moments before the horn and land two hard shots on Wood.

    We move to the men's 145lbs division for a tasty showdown between Brit Nathaniel Wood and Daniel Pineda.

    Bruna Brasil spoils the Brit's hot streak with a unanimous decision victory.

    The judges scored the bout 30-27, 30-27, 29-28 in her favour.

  • McCann vs Brasil - Round 3

    McCann immediately puts her foot on the gas and lands a nice jab.

    But she eats yet another knee to the body that will have no doubt sapped her gas tank even more.

    She shoots for a takedown but gets reversed and now dealing with Brasil trying to cut through her guard.

    Brasil lets McCann get back to her feet but lands yet another deadly knee.

    McCann comes forward, though, landing a good right hand and a steep that gets the crowd going.

    Another good right lands for the Liverpudlian but she soon finds herself on her back after Brasil perfectly times her knee.

    Brasil has the back but seems content with position rather than submission.

    McCann utilises a tiniest of gaps to jump in the back of Brasil and look for a choke but there is nothing to it.

    The round ends. A better round for McCann, but I have Brasil winning 30-27.

  • McCann vs Brasil – Round 2

    McCann draws a big reaction from the crowd as she lands a nice right hand in tight.

    Brasil is trying to get back to her long and ideal striking range and target the midriff of McCann again.

    McCann initiates a clinch against the fence but is being made to work hard for the takedown.

    She eventually gets it, to the delight of the crowd, but Brasil is able to work her way back to her feet.

    Takedown for Brasil with just over a minute of the round left.

    Brasil lets McCann back up but puts the Liverpudlian back down with a right hook as the jumped into range.

  • McCann vs Brasil - Round 1

    McCann puts the pressure on early but gets spun around by a hard calf kick.

    Brasil lands a nice knee to the body of the advancing McCann.

    McCann goes down due to a hard groin strike but she's back to her feet and she's good to go.

    Brasil lands another counter knee to the midriff as McCann comes forward.

    And another - these will pay dividends later in the fight for sure.

    McCann goes down again, it looks like it was a body shot. Brasil hurts her again with another hard body kick and McCann can't hide her pain.

    Brasil is going in for the kill with body shots and knees to the midriff. But McCann is holding on and manages to get a clinch.

    Takedown attempt for McCann gets stuffed and Brasil ends up in side control before moving to half guard.

    She tries to escape to her feet but McCann holds on to a single-leg and drags her back to the canvas.

    The horn goes.

  • Meatball Molly Time

    Fan favourite Molly McCann is about to take to the octagon take on Bruna Brasil in her second strawweight outing.

    She suffered a submission defeat the last time she fought on UK soil, so she'll be out to turn in a better display this morning.

    Jake Hadley beats Caolan Loughran via unanimous decision.

    The judges scored the contest 30-27, 30-27, 29-28 in his favour.

    Hadley is once again doing a beautiful job of reading Loughran's entries.

    Loughran isn't helping himself by not setting up his big strikes behind other shots.

    Hadley is just having his way with him on the outside. A great display of fighting on the back foot and counter striking from Hadley. Just a shame he missed weight.

  • Hadley vs Loughran – Round 2

    Loughran is putting on more pressure at the restart and finally shoots for a takedown.

    It's stuffed by Hadley who goes back to playing matador on the outside.

    An accidental low blow from Loughran brings about a pause to the action.

    Hadley recovers and they're back to it.

    Loughran shoots for a takedown and nearly grounds the fight. Hadley reverses him brilliantly and gets back to striking range.

    Hadley shoots for a takedown of his own after an exchange but gets grounded himself.

    The horn goes.

  • Hadley vs Loughran - Round 1

    Loughran is trying to feint his way in early to land a big strike.

    Hadley is all too happy to operate on the outside and counter the Irish tank.

    He's landing good leg kicks and has already caused a welt just above Loughran's left knee.

    Hadley lands a beautiful counter-body shot as Loughran comes in.

    Loughran has yet to explode, much to my surprise. The horn goes. 10-9 Hadley in my book.

    We move to the bantamweight division for a short-notice clash between Caolan Loughran and Birmingham's Jake Hadley.

    This should be a good one, folks.

  • Mokaev wins

    Muhammad Mokaev moves to 7-0 in the UFC with a unanimous decision win over Manel Kape.

    The judges turned in 29-28, 29-28 and 30-27 scorecards in the 23-year-old's favour.

    A title shot could soon be on the cards.

  • Mokaev vs Kape – Round 3

    Mokaev slaps a question mark kick across the face off Kape but he lands with the instep of his foot rather than the shin.

    Kape is hunting Mokaev down, not giving him any breathing room and pushing him back against the fence.

    Mokaev shoots for a takedown but it's stuff and now he's fending off a guillotine attempt.

    He pops his head out, much to the delight of the crowd.

    But they soon gasp as Kape unleashes a barrage of vicious elbows from his back.

    They get back to their feet and Mokaev points to the octagon floor in a bid to stand and bang the remainder of the round out.

    The horn goes and both men hug it out.

  • Mokaev vs Kape – Round 2

    Neither man really wants to commit to throwing prolonged combinations inside the pocket.

    Kape seemingly tries to realign his right toe and Mokaev tries to capitalise with a flying knee.

    Kape is wise to it but finds himself taken down a few moments later.

    But the ref stands them back up after Mokaev illegally grabs his shorts.

    Kape lands a good right hand with less than a minute to go and is now stalking Mokaev.

  • Mokaev vs Kape - Round 1

    They come out swinging early doors and Mokaev lands a big kick to the body.

    Mokaev has calmed down and is now looking to feint his way in. The powerful and stocky Kape is coiled like a cobra ready to explode.

    A hard low kick from Mokaev echoes throughout the arena.

    Mokaev has yet to shoot for a takedown and is looking to strike.

    But he may change tact after eating a good right hand that the crowd reacts to.

    Kape has offered very little going forward and the crowd are starting to turn on the fighters.

    Kape shrugs off an accidental low blow and a wild spinning wheel kick a few seconds later.

    Kape lands a flying knee to the body and follows up with an elbow.

    Kape rocks Mokaev with a left hook seconds before the buzzer forcing the Dagestani to shoot for a takedown before the horn.

  • Flyweight fisticuffs next

    Up next is the eagerly-anticipated grudge match between Muhammad Mokaev and Manel Kape.

    These two have been going at one another all week.

    So expect fireworks, folks.
