I live and work full-time in my Honda – I’ve got my own mini kitchen and cafe area and save a fortune on rent
MANY people know that paying for rent or a mortgage can be expensive, especially with the cost of living increasing.
One woman shared how she’d moved into her Honda car and she even earns money in it too.
On her Just Rowan account, the adventurous woman gave a tour around her home-on-wheels and gave an insight into what life on the road is like.
She said: “I'm so happy to see the channel growing and building the community. I think it's a good time to give a tour of my car home.”
Rowan lives in a 2006 Honda Pilot which has four-wheel drive and has a solar panel on the roof.
She shared: “I've lived in a few vehicles.

“If you look back on my channel, you'll see I did a van conversion and also lived in a Toyota Corolla for a while."
The woman revealed she earns money by delivering takeaways with DoorDash, which is similar to Deliveroo.
She added: “This setup is by far my favourite. It feels like such a nice combination of being able to DoorDash, getting good mileage, and being very stealthy.
“It blends right in and has enough room to have everything I need, feel cosy, homey, and sleep comfortably.
“I can do what I want to do, so this is the perfect car life vehicle for me at this moment. I'm happy to show you around.”
Rowan has a mini kitchen area which can be accessed both from the inside and the outside.
This is stocked with her utensils, stove, food items and dishwashing items.
She continued: “I usually use it from the inside, but if I'm at a campground, it's nice to cook outside.
“Most of the time, I use it inside, so everything is pretty accessible from the inside.
“I can actually sit on the bed and work at the kitchen, and there's my living area or living room if you want to call it that.
“It's almost a twin-size bed, a little narrower, but I have a comfy mattress and lots of pillows.
“I can arrange them to be comfortable sitting up or lying down.
“Underneath are my clothes.
“These bags contain my clothes: the middle one for dirty laundry, the one on the right for tops, and the one on the left for pants.”

Is it legal to live in a van?
IF you are looking to live in a van to save money or travel, you'll be pleased to know that there are no UK laws stopping you.
However, you must ensure your vehicle has passed its MOT and is fully road legal.
There could also be restrictions on where you can park up and sleep in your van.
For example, local authorities place restrictions on certain streets or lay-bys, and you could be fined if you spend the night there.
It could also be unsafe to spend the night in some locations (particularly at night time).
Check the The Highway Code guide for guidance.
When it’s time to brush her teeth, she fills a cup with water and pours it into her water system.
She also has a mini shower and curtain that she can put up to stay clean.
And to keep light out at night and for privacy, she has fleece curtains which block the windows.
Rowan shared: “At night, I close the curtain, creating a good seal with the fleece and put up window covers for privacy.

“I have fairy lights around the ceiling, held by hooks and safety pins.
“I have a lamp that operates with my power station. Inside, in stealth mode, no light shines through with the covers up.
“From the outside, the car looks normal, with just a little light visible in the corner.”
