One bargain hunter was left stunned when browsing the shelves in her local Aldi, when she spotted a cheap lip oil.

But not only was the Aldi fan impressed with the cheap price tag, but she also noticed that the product was a dupe of a much more expensive buy from iconic make-up brand Charlotte Tilbury.

Thrilled with her find, the beauty fan took to social media to alert other shoppers, leaving many open-mouthed. 

Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private Facebook group with a staggering 2.4 million members, the happy shopper shared a snap of her purchase - the Lacura collagen lip oil.

Alongside the picture of her purchase, she penned: “This stuff from Aldi is amazing!!!”

She also added: “And even better, it's £2.99 and an amazing dupe of the Charlotte Tilbury one which is way more expensive!!!!!”

Social media users were desperate to nab themselves one, and many beauty fans took to the comments to share their thoughts on the buy. 

One person said: “I want one!”

Another added: “I’ll have to nip [to Aldi] tomorrow.”

At the same time, one shopper tagged a friend and asked: “If you see this can you get me it?”

Whilst someone else asked a loved one: “Keep a look out for this please.”

Beauty fans divided 

But while some beauty fans confessed to ‘loving’ the dupe buy, not everyone was convinced. 

One woman explained: “I love it! Have bought some every time it’s been released. I haven’t tried the CT one, but my friend who has said she prefers the Aldi one!!” 

Whilst a second claimed: “It's great, I’ve been using it for a few days and can see a change already.”

The beauty fan also added: “My lips don’t look so dull, they seem to be brighter, fuller, less cracks and softer.”

However, another user claimed: “I found it rubbish..doesn't compare to CT.” 

Meanwhile, one beauty lover wrote: “I didn’t rate it, too sticky.”
