ITV shows in major BAFTA TV Awards snub as Emmerdale, This Morning and huge reality show all fail to get nominations
THIS year's BAFTA TV Award nominations have been revealed in full and THREE huge ITV shows have all failed to secure a nomination.
Soap opera Emmerdale, former king of daytime This Morning and beloved reality series I'm A Celebrity have all been snubbed in a shock result.
The full list of those hoping to win big at the ceremony in May were revealed today with Alan Cumming set to host the ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall in just a few weeks time.
This Morning has failed to secure a nomination for a second year in a running in the Best Daytime Show category under its latest tenure of Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley as hosts.
It's BBC rival, Morning Live, has however triumphed and bagged a nod for this year's awards.
BBC Two has also proved surprisingly successful in the category with Clive Myrie's Caribbean Adventure and Richard Osman's House of Games all being recognised.

ITV's ratings winner, I'm A Celebrity, fronted by Ant and Dec has also been swerved this year with the show failing to secure any recognition.
It's a huge blow to the channel as it means they have failed to secure any nominations in the reality category.
Instead, runaway BBC hit The Traitors, BBC One show Dragons' Den, new Netflix smash Love Is Blind UK and Channel 4 show Jury Trial are each vying for the prize instead.
Emmerdale is also missing from the soap category with Coronation Street being ITV's also soap opera to be nominated despite its ongoing cash crisis and behind-the-scenes difficulties.
Corrie will face off against EastEnders during its landmark 40th anniversary year as well as Casualty - which just days ago beat it's soap rivals to be crowned victorious at the RTS Awards.
But whilst it was bad news for Ant and Dec and their jungle escapades, they did still however manage to scoop a nomination for Entertainment Performance.
The popular double act's role on the now-axed Saturday Night Takeaway will see them go against Claudia Winkleman, Graham Norton, Joe Lycett, Stacey Solomon and last year's show host, Romesh Ranganathan for the gong.
