The Tourist bosses break silence on BBC drama’s future after explosive second series
The Tourist creators have broken their silence on the future of the BBC drama beyond a thrilling second second series.
The chilling thriller, starring Irish actor, Jamie Dornan is about to wrap up on BBC One.
But there's no need for fans to wonder if they'll get another series - because the bosses have given an update.
The show's creators, Harry and Jack Williams, have now revealed there could be a third season on the way.
"It can exist as a thing that ends [there] and we never see again, but like the first time round, we'd never say never," Harry told RadioTimes.com exclusive video and podcast series The Best Ever
Jack also playfully hinted that at the end of season 2, viewers will catch 'a little nod' that suggests there's more to come.

He added: "And there is a little nod at the very end of this season that does suggest some interesting avenues for exploration, I would say.
"It depends on us finding the right thing, but we love the world and we love the characters and we love working with Jamie and Danielle, so that's always going to be interesting to us."
The "little hint" Jack mentions is most likely the surprise reveal in the finale that Elliot Stanley, real name, Eugene Cassidy (Jamie Dornan), was actually a former secret agent.
Meanwhile, viewer were left less than impressed by season two of The Tourist, hitting out at Elliot's 'stupid' decision to avoid capture.
In the episode he was seen trying to escape from his captors after running out of the shed where he was being held.
Elliot was pursued to a cliff's edge by the people looking for him, and rather than hiding out in the woods, opted to hang off a ledge in an attempt to avoid being caught.
Those at home watching were left groaning at his decision.
All episodes of The Tourist season one and two are available to watch on BBC iPlayer right now.
