I’m 51 and my husband’s 35 – I already had 5 kids when we got married, my oldest son is 32 but we all get along
ONE couple is proving that having a substantial age gap doesn't have to cause animosity.
Even with her husband and oldest daughter only three years apart in age, this mother has made her big happy family work.
"My husband is 16 years younger than me," said Coree Ray (@coreeray).
And if you thought the age disparity was making things more difficult for her think again.
"He can keep up with me most of the time," joked the 51-year-old of her 35-year-old husband as the pair could be seen dancing in place up a short flight of stairs.
Still, it seemed that nothing could get in the way of their wedded bliss.
"He married me with five children," she shared as they both smiled while enjoying a night out together.
"Age is just a number," said Coree who had already proven just how true that could be.
Many of her fans were not only rooting for the couple but could relate to the unusual age difference.
"My husband is 13 years younger and we’ve been together 19 years. Keep being happy," shared one such follower.
"Beautiful," she replied.
"My husband is 10 years younger so happy in love," another viewer chimed in.
The pair's love story was also encouraging others to continue pursuing their own relationships.
"I needed to see this - he's 17 years younger than me and I was nervous. Thank you," said one inspired follower.
Still, naysayers couldn't help but weigh in on their situation.
"Won’t matter now but it will later," said one negative viewer.
In a second video, Coree addressed one of the most common questions she gets asked: "What if he wanted to have kids?"
She happily answered the question.
"We did have kids together. I already had five when we met," she explained.
The couple clearly didn't care what others thought as they coordinated some dance moves together in their kitchen.
"Now we are a family of nine. We will be together twelve years this year," she said as they continued to get down.
No roadblocks for this blended family.
"You guys are awesome!" exclaimed this fan.
"Love this!" agreed another.
Their set of twin girls was 11 while the rest of the family included Coree's children who ranged in age from 20 to 32.

According to market data research company Gitnux, the average age difference in the US is 2.3 years.
In 64% of couples the man is older while 23% have no age difference, and 13% have an older woman.
