Stacey Solomon hits back at trolls after she’s holiday-shamed and accused of flaunting her wealth
STACEY Solomon had a classy message for trolls after being slammed for taking her entire family on holiday to ring in the New Year.
The Solomon and Swash clan are living it up in Jamaica on a dream trip with their nearest and dearest.
But the couple's generosity and pictures from paradise weren't warmly received by everyone, with some accusing them of flaunting their wealth.
Speaking to her followers on Instagram last night, Stacey said: "Just laying in bed reading your messages. I love you all so much. I promise as soon as we are all home I’ll start the big January clear out & we can all get sorted for 2024!
“I can not wait! But I so needed this time with my family. So much can happen in a year & I’m so grateful to be spending special time with our parents & sisters & nieces & nephews.
“I am definitely sticking to the ‘fudge’ it year for 2024. I feel like I’ve already started. No more worrying about what people say or think. It’s time to just live. And those who matter don’t mind, those who mind don’t matter. Love you all to the moon and back.”

In a montage on Instagram, Stacey and her family could be seen standing in the sea waving at the camera.
Unsurprisingly, they all looked over the moon.
Stacey detailed the trip in the caption, writing: "A special Christmas. For the first time ever we got to surprise our families for Christmas. Never felt more grateful & lucky.
"Not in my wildest dreams did I ever think I’d be able to do this. 20 of us, 10 hours later & we have made it to paradise.
"Merry Christmas Everyone. Lots of love from ALL of us."
Fans of the star flocked to the comment section to share their praise, with one gushing: "Awww love this xx have the best time x family time is the best x."
A second penned: "Wow amazing how lovely is that, memories they’ll always remember."
A third added: "Ahh have the most amazing time!!! You deserve it."
However, some weren't so pleased with the lavish display, with one explaining they they felt it was "too much".
One follower wrote: "It gets a bit too much exposing the wealth that other peeps can't dream of. You can't be a working class hero and a mega spender!"
Another follower defended Stacey, stating: "Why are people being so jealous of them yes we all work hard but Stacey started off being a single parent and going without then got a break on X-factor and she has worked her butt off ever since and met Joe!
"They both have come from nothing, to work for what they now have. So they are allowed to go on holiday ,and have quality time together with the family."
But a third pointed out: "Sadly most people are really struggling atm it’s the worst it’s been for decades - lovely Stacey can do this but maybe don’t post such in-depth details on social media…..sometimes private is best."
