Coronation Street viewers shocked as Daniel takes major step with Daisy – despite Ryan affair reveal

CORONATION Street viewers were shocked tonight as Daniel Osbourne took a major step with cheating Daisy Midgeley.

Earlier, the brunette beauty was shocked as Daniel suggested the pair buy the infamous Rover Return Pub.

He showed his fiancee round the empty pub, as he suggested that the pair buy the establishment, instead of a flat in RedBank.

After a swift back and forth, Daisy (Charlotte Jordan) fled the closed watering hole after she claimed that she "needed some air."

Later on, after taking time away she came back to the flat as a patient Daniel awaited to hear her response.

He claimed: "Was beginning to thing you'd run out on us, you okay?"

To which she sheepishly replied: "Yeah, yeah, I'm sorry about before," as she tried to reassure her partner.

"No I'm sorry, I did just sort of spring it on you didn't I," Daniel declared in response. "The whole buying the pub thing."

"It was a bit out of the blue," she confirmed before he echoed: "It's a big commitment."

He continued: "You need time to think about it, so, now that you had that time?"

With a cryptic hint about what he recently discovered, he said: "I just thought, it could be something to do together!

"I know how much you love that place, and all the people that work there, or maybe not everyone," he suggested with a cheeky and knowing wink.

"You'd be brilliant at it. You would. But if you're not interested..."

Much to his shock, Daisy then went onto reply: "No I, I am."

With a glass of white wine in hand, he turned to his girlfriend in surprise: "You want me to buy the pub?"

Even more sheepishly, Daisy retorted: "I think so. Can I sleep on it? I'm probably gonna say yeah."

"I knew you'd come round, you know my dad had his first pint in the Rovers when he was just 18.

"What is it? 60, odd, years later it's still his local. Can even be Bertie's local.

"I mean you're going to be living there and running the place, for you and Bertie. Can you believe that?"

But viewers realised that the only reason why she agreed is to cover up on her cheating with Ryan.

Daniel seems to be playing the long game after he discovered the video where Ryan confessed his feelings for Daisy after she played away.

And as she sank into her own guilt-ridden glass of wine, Corrie fans couldn't help but notice the feeling that was written all over her face.

One viewer claimed: "The guilt is seeped all over Daisy's face."

A second stated: "Daisy with the fake smile..."

"Daisy shouldn't let Daniel buy the Rovers," noted a third.

Whilst a fourth added: "Daisy looks terffied."
