Nigel Farage reveals furious bust-ups with ITV over stripping, smoking and shock edits of I’m A Celeb clashes
NIGEL Farage told ITV bosses to “go to hell” in a furious row over his naked I’m A Celebrity shower.
The politician said he broke the show’s strict ban on nudity in a bid to protect himself from leeches and illness.
Third placed Nigel said: “To be told to check yourself and to be told you must keep clean – and then to be told you can’t take your pants off in the shower struck me as contradictory.
“I had a huge row. I was told in the interest of taste and in respect for the cameramen and women that I shouldn’t be doing this.
“I said, ‘Go to hell!”
Nigel – who also said bosses banned him from smoking two cigarettes in a row because it took up too much time– added: “The day I did it, it was lashing with rain.

"Leeches will crawl up your leg and embed themselves in the warmest part of your body.
“Sam did not shower naked and Sam did not check himself. Sam woke up one morning screaming – the leech was huge. It was on his a*** and the sleeping bag looked like a murder scene.
“So there were very good reasons [to be naked].
“Afterwards my other campmates did the same, four other blokes stripped naked.”
Nigel, 59, came out in third place, behind boxer Tony and Jungle King Sam, on Sunday night.
While Nigel said his experience in camp was so good he’d be up for doing the show again, he accused ITV of pushing the stars too hard.
In his first drinking trial, Nigel and Tony Bellew, 41, went head-to-head and had to drink 12 pints of rank liquids – including blended cow anus and blended bull penis.
Nigel alleged: “The drinking challenge was a nightmare they will never repeat. They know they got it wrong. They made us seriously ill."
Nigel also struggled with the bad weather, adding: “Wet socks was the biggest problem I had.
“I had blisters due to wet socks. In those rainy days it was pretty depressing.
“The end of my bed was literally drenched night after night.”
Nigel was this year’s most divisive signing but went on to become hugely popular with his campmates.
He formed a close friendship with Danielle Harold, Marvin Humes and Sam – who spent hours speaking to Nigel about ancient Greece.
Brexiteer Nigel clashed with First Dates star Fred Sirieix however but said their arguments never made the edit.
He said: “The biggest risk of signing this contract was the edit. Fred and I had three big debates about Russia where he kept saying. ‘You’re funded with the Russians’.
“I was pretty heated and damning in my response.”

Nigel added: “People were very wary of me.
“You had people like Fred and then people like Nella who believes everything she reads on the internet.
“There were people like that who were itching to poke a stick at me and I was conscious of that. I bided my time, I knew it was a marathon and not a sprint.”
