Lisa Riley reunites with Emmerdale legend 13 years after exit – sparking return rumours

LISA Riley has sparked rumours an Emmerdale legend is returning to the soap.

The 47-year-old, who plays fan favourite Mandy Dingle in Emmerdale, took to Instagram to share a snap from the sweet reunion.

Alongside the new photo of her with Adele Silva, Lisa posted an incredible throwback of them in character as Mandy and Kelly Windsor.

She wrote: "On the left 27 years ago on @emmerdale on the right TONIGHT gorgeous catch up and dinner @gino.leeds with my life long friend @silvaliningx getting older yet getting more giddy."

Rans rushed to comment on the post - and they were all saying the same thing.

One wrote: "Bring her back!" Another said: "Kelly should return to Emmerdale."

And a third added: "Imagine the scenes if Kelly came back now."

Adele, 43, first appeared on the show in 1993 but Kelly left for good for good in 2011.

But she still has ties there, with son Elliot [Luca Hoyle] currently living in the village.

Speaking to The Sun previously, Adele insisted she'd never rule out making a comeback.

She said: "I’d definitely go back if they asked me. Obviously Kelly’s son is there and she’s not seen him for years.

“Then there’s little April. You can imagine Marlon’s face if her auntie Kelly turned up. He’d be horrified."

Adele continued: “Mandy was Kelly’s best friend and there’s the history she has with Kim Tate [Claire King]. I just love Kim, you always know she’s going to be at the heart of an incredible storyline."
