I’m 24 but I make 70k a MONTH by reselling coffee machines & laptops…now I drive a Mercedes & fly business, it’s great

A SAVVY 24-year-old has revealed how he makes £70k-a-month reselling household items, laptops and coffee machines.

Entrepreneurial Luke Williams, from Bristol, started selling old mobile phones on eBay while working on a building site - as his salary didn't cover his bills.

He branched out to source household items - like bleach, deodorant and washing up liquid - from wholesalers and sell them on Amazon at a higher price in June 2021.

The re-seller started making £1k-a-month from his side hustle but after his earnings increased to £30k-a-month in 18 months he quit his job as a builder in January 2022.

In his first 12 months, Luke raked in £180k profit and now earns £70k-a-month selling electronics like computers, laptops and TVs.

Luke's earnings mean he has been able to pay off his £17k Mercedes Benz, fly business class to Abu Dhabi and reinvest in his business.

"My business has changed a little bit," he says.

"I have moved onto electronics - TVs, laptops, coffee machines.

"I am selling those alongside my usual household items.

"You can shift less units and get more sales, instead of selling 1,000 deodorant sticks you can sell 100 coffee machines and get more money."

Luke graduated in June 2020 and started working on a building site.

But he quickly realised he wasn't earning enough money to pay for all his bills and started selling on eBay - making an extra £1k-a-month within three months.

"I just wasn't making enough money," he explains.

"I came across Amazon FBA - a program that lets you outsource order fulfillment to Amazon - and realised I could buy from wholesalers and sell on the app too.

"What I sell ranges from air fresheners, meat grinders, phones, kids' toys and changing mats.

"Thorntons chocolate is really popular at the minute."

In his first year of trading, Luke made £180k reselling household items like soap, deodorant and toothpaste.

"I started out by buying old phones from Facebook and reselling them on eBay," he says.

"I only wanted to make an extra £1k-a-month as it would help me with the extra payments I had.
