All three seasons to date are available to watch on iPlayer since the BBC picked the show up shortly after series one aired in Norway.

The show focuses on William Wisting (Sven Nordin), a small town senior homicide detective.

The premise sees Wisting investigate an American serial killer hiding in Norway and in turn cross paths with his journalist daughter’s latest story.

Canadian actress Carrie-Anne Moss, known for playing Trinity in The Matrix films, stars as Maggie Griffin, a visiting FBI special agent on secondment to Wisting’s team.

Another added: “Listen up! You are really missing out if you’re not watching Wisting on iPlayer, I’m obsessed!”

A third viewer shared: “Wisting is brilliant. Lots in Norwegian with subs but well worth sticking with it.
