Hong Kong police hunt for robbers behind HK$6 million watch heist in bustling shopping district
Hong Kong police are hunting for at least four robbers who stole about 30 watches worth an estimated HK$6 million (US$766,800) from a store in a prominent shopping district on Wednesday.
The heist took place in broad daylight just after 2pm at the Legend Success Timepiece store on Causeway Bay’s Foo Ming Street.
Police said their initial investigation suggested three robbers had rushed into the shop to grab the timepieces, while a fourth suspect waited outside and acted as a getaway driver.
