Shooting reported at primary school in US
A shooting has been reported at a Minneapolis Catholic school, the Minnesota governor and authorities have said.
There was no immediate information on any injuries, but Governor Tim Walz called the gunfire "horrific".
The Minneapolis city government said meanwhile that the suspect had been "contained".

Mr Walz said on social media that he had been briefed on a shooting at Annunciation Catholic School.
"I'm praying for our kids and teachers whose first week of school was marred by this horrific act of violence," Waltz wrote on X.
A witness to the shooting told Sky News that it went on "for several minutes - a long time for live gunfire".
A person answering the phone at Annunciation School said students were being evacuated.
The pre-kindergarten through eighth-grade school had an all-school Mass scheduled at 8.15am on Wednesday morning, according to its website.
Monday was the first day of the school semester.
Responding to the reports, US President Donald Trump said on Truth Social: "I have been fully briefed on the tragic shooting in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
"The FBI quickly responded and they are on the scene. The White House will continue to monitor this terrible situation.
"Please join me in praying for everyone involved!"
