A WEDDING dress code has people scratching their heads, with some saying they'd skip the ceremony altogether.
One went as far as to tell one of the guests that she'll never be able to wear her outfit again.
Redditor Glittering-alarm7671 posted her dress options on the social media platform.
She asked fellow Reddit users for advice on which outfit to choose for the matrimonial affair.
"I have a wedding in Florida coming up in two months," she said.
"It is outside by the ocean at a resort, and the dress code is only cream and tan.
"Deciding between these three dresses."
DRESS STRESS
The Redditor included swatches of the exact colors requested for guests to wear.
Many of the hues were variations of beige and off-white.
She also shared pictures of three contending dresses to don at the event.
First, she posted the Lace Ruffle Sleeve Maxi Dress, $71.91, by Lucy In The Sky in Cream.
She also added the Lace Open Back Mermaid Maxi Dress, $62.91, by Lucy In The Sky.
Finally, she posted the Strapless Lace Ruffle Slit Dress, $55.92, also by Lucy In The Sky.
FASHION POLICE
Several Redditors gave their two cents on the unusual wedding dress code.
"I’d honestly skip a wedding like this," one said.
"But if you really want to go, three looks best. However, if it costs a whole lot more than the others, go with the cheapest one.
"That’s what they deserve for this dress code."
"I’d be extremely tempted to wear my wedding dress, which wasn’t traditional/was a dress that happens to be ivory and fits with what they’re asking, because they’re asking something crazy," said a third.
"And while I like a specific dress code, as in one that conforms to the generally understood rules of cocktail, formal, [or] black tie.
"So you can respect the couple and their wishes without having to make wild guesses or buy a dress in a certain shade of ivory you’ll never be able to wear again.
"This one is beyond bananas."
