  • Business end of tournament looms

This is the moment we have been building to over the last few weeks.

It is the final session of the World Snooker Championship.

We will see whether Kyren Wilson can go on to get the frame required for victory or Jak Jones make an unlikely comeback to be crowned champion.

  • Fairytale required for final victory

If Jak Jones was to go on and win the World Snooker Championship, it would be one of the greatest comebacks this tournament has ever seen.

Heading into the final session, he requires 8 frames to reach the finishing line, while not allowing his opponent to win more than 2.

It is all about having some downtime now, getting on the practice tables, and making sure he is firing on all cylinders for that evening session.

  • Welshman winning either way

Even if he does have to fill the role of runner-up this evening, it has been a brilliant tournament for Jak Jones.

As a result of his run, he will now feature in the top 16 in the world rankings which will open up more tournaments for him next season.

All of this is something he could not have dreamt of when he was playing his early qualifying matches.

  • The best tournament in snooker

There can be no denying that the World Snooker Championship is the pinnacle of the snooker calendar.

Once again we have seen some big upsets, amazing play and potting to behold.

While there have not been as many century breaks with what seems to be tighter pockets, it has made the world's best work harder for the trophy.

  • 'Silver Lady' looking for a new home

After Luca Brecel took home the trophy last year, one of these two players will be taking her home this evening.

It would take a monumental comeback from Jak Jones to be taking the trophy back to Wales but anything is possible in this tournament.

Kyren Wilson may feel the nerves as he edges towards the finishing line, something his opponent will need to capitalise on.

  • Form eluding Welsh challenger

En-route to the final, Jak Jones has played some brilliant snooker and nobody can deny that he deserves his place here.

All too often on the big occasion, that form has just not been with him.

Whether it is the pressure of The Crucible cauldron or the nerves of his first major final, Jones has been left scratching his head over his lack of form.

A cleaner had to come in to clear up the mess and got a huge cheer from the crowd for their work.

Unbelievably, a loose red drops into the pocket to huge cheers.

Just as he gets a chance from nothing he misses the blue up to the yellow pocket by some way and to make matters worse a red drops in to give Wilson a foul.
