Cleaning pros rave about hack to clean windows with common item you throw in the bin – and it leaves glass streak free

CLEANING pros have been raving about a simple method to get your windows shining and streak free - and it uses something you would usually throw away.

As the days are getting longer and the temperature is beginning to climb, you may have have started to notice that your windows are in need of a good scrub.

When cleaning windows, it can be tricky to prevent them from going streaky, but cleaning whizzes may have found the answer.

Posting in the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook group, one person asked: "Tips for cleaning windows please.

"Mine always end up streaky and dirty looking."

The post was flooded with helpful replies from Facebook users, and many people said the same thing.

One person said: "If u have tumble dryer water use that, it's brilliant".

Another person said: "If you have a condenser tumble dryer try the water out of it it’s amazing."

A third person chimed in: "Water from your tumble dryer, you will never look back!! It's amazing."

This hack only works if you have a condenser tumble dryer that collects water, but it's a great way to save water, instead of just throwing it away.

The cleaning pros suggested using either a microfibre cloth or a paper towel to wipe the windows with the tumble dryer water.
