‘I was so underwhelmed’ holidaymaker admits as she forks out £99 for a mystery Wowcher break & doesn’t get the Maldives
SHE splashed out on a £99 mystery Wowcher holiday in the hope of getting a week in the Maldives.
But Amy was left more than a little disappointed when the destination for the vacation flashed up on her computer screen.
She took to TikTok to share a video of the moment she found out she'd be travelling to Bordeaux, in France.
The computer screen went blank before revealing the holiday location, at which point Amy's friend exclaimed: "It's s**t, I've been there!"
"Is it? Is it s**t?" Amy replied.
"I was so convinced we were getting a week in the Maldives," she added in the caption.

People were quick to comment on the video, with one asking: "Can you return these??"
"Not once you’ve redeemed it I don’t think," Amy replied.
"Thought I was going to get the nice expensive places. We got Poland," another added.
"Aw I would’ve been buzzing if we got Poland," Amy responded.
Others defended Bordeaux, with one writing: "Bordeaux is genuinely so nice!!
"Weather is super hot in summer too!"
"It does look really nice, think we were just disappointed bc we wanted somewhere different," Amy replied.
"No bordeaux is seriously such a lovely place," another insisted.
"I lived there for a year and it’s so convenient everything is nearby and there’s so much to do!"
"I know you don’t get to choose where but what about dates?" someone else asked.
With Amy replying: "We paid extra so that we could pick dates between June-July."
And others revealed their own success stories through buying the Wowcher mystery holiday, with one writing:"We got Mallorca Spain lol."
"I did one of these and off to Malta in two weeks!" another added.
"We got Venice and honestly it was brilliant, great location good flights," a third commented.
