Rather than spend a small fortune though, one woman was shocked to find stunning homewear items in Poundland – and we are now racing to the till too.

If you aren’t following Celene Francis, prepare to meet your new favourite influencer.

Better known as @61thecouncilhouse on TikTok, this thrifty mum has been renovating her council home and turning into a stunning family space.

If that wasn’t impressive enough, she sources almost everything from the high street and has done the majority of renovations on her own.

Now, her home gives major ‘quiet luxury’ vibes with its minimal lines, chic cream tones and cosy furnishings.

Despite spending hours trawling the high street, even the content creator was surprised with what was on offer in Poundland.

Having nipped into the discount store, the mum-of-one found the new homewear range and was impressed by what she found.

She even made an entire TikTok with some of her favourite picks.

Likes many of us, Celene was immediately drawn to the trinket trays on offer which came in a stunning range of metallic and pastel shades.

“The first thing that caught my eye was these trinket trays,” she gushed, as she showed off the range to her followers.

While we were tempted by the purple scalloped tray like Celene, we think that the gold-toned trinket dish is the perfect accessory for adding some serious luxe to your space.

The interior expert was keen to add a pop of colour to her space with a set of three pastel serving dishes.

Part of Pepco ‘candy spring collection’, they are extremely similar to the viral M&S plates that have been trending on TikTok in recent months – but cost just a fraction of the price.

Even better, the green, yellow and purple ceramic plates are perfect for storing items like your keys or jewellery to stop them getting lost.

However, Celene had a slightly different idea and told fans: “I’m loving these cute little dishes to put snacks in.”

Perhaps her favourite item though were the glass soap dispensers, which cost just £1.50.

Despite the low price price, the accessories has delicately shaped glass and gold-toned metal – which made them look more high end than high street.

Coming in either clear or a dark green, the savvy shopper asked: “How stunning are these?”

She even spotted stunning vases in the discount store, with Celene struggling to pick just one among her favourites.

Whether you want a more minimalist design or some cute to add to your space, there was a huge variety on offer.

The mum-of-one decided to treat herself to a green abstract bubble vase for just £5, joking that it need to get into her basket right now.

 As she toured the rest of the store, she commented: “I am super impressed by Poundland at the minute…I was gobsmacked by some of the items I’ve seen. Some things are half the price of other stores.

“I can’t believe you can get this in Poundland.”

With kitchen utensils, glass wear and even planters on offer - it seems we are overdue a shopping trip.
