Gianluigi Donnarumma forced off with sickening injury and risked being blinded after horror tackle in PSG clash
PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma was left bloodied and bruised after suffering a horrendous facial injury during a crunch clash with Monaco.
PSG face Monaco in a crucial Ligue 1 match at Stade Louis II, but Luis Enrique's side lost their keeper early in the first half after a blood-curling challenge.
Wilfried Singo and Donnarumma, 25, went for the ball inside PSG's area and the defender accidentally stepped on his opponent's face - studs first - with his right foot.
The Italy international was left bleeding with an awful wound on his face.
And PSG boss Enrique had no other option but to take him off the pitch and replace him with back-up keeper Matvei Safonov after just 22 minutes.
Singo, 23, was already on a yellow after a rough challenge on Desire Doue.
