I’m 23 and everyone mistakes my 45-year-old mum for my younger sister – here’s her skincare secrets to looking beautiful

A WOMAN has revealed that she is just 23-years-old and her mother, who is 45, is often mistaken for her sister, despite being nearly double her age. 

Not only this, but many thought that Ala’s mum actually looked younger than her.

As a result, beauty fans were desperate for the stunning woman’s skincare secrets, to which Ala confirmed it’s much more simple than you might expect.

Ala and her mother have now gone viral online after many were left totally stunned at the good looks and relation of the pair.

In the short clip shared online, Ala shared a throwback picture of herself from her childhood when she was just four-years-old, while her mum was 26. 

Taking part in the viral 'When We Were Young' trend, Ala also shared what the pair look like now, 19-years-on from the first photo being taken.

Both of their skin glowed in the selfie and Ala had her hair slicked back, while her mum let her shoulder length locks hang loose.

When asked for her mother’s skincare routine, Ala admitted that her mum doesn’t have one.

Not only this, but she doesn’t even wear sun protection.

Ala confirmed: “She literally has no skincare routine, she doesn’t even wear SPF.”

At the time of writing, the TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @ala.le29, just three days prior, had quickly gone viral and had racked up a staggering 2.2 million views.

Social media users were left open-mouthed at the clip and many rushed to the comments to gush over the mother and daughter duo.

Not only did many hail Ala’s mum “beautiful”, but many thought she looked younger than Ala. 

One person said: "45?! You looks like sisters!"

Another added: "Your mum looks 20! God bless her."

A third commented: "You look [the] same age, wow she’s insanely beautiful."

Meanwhile, someone else swooned: "Your mum looks like a model."

At the same time, another user penned: “Ageing like fine wine.” 

Whilst one woman claimed: “You look so much alike just wow.”
