I’m a 92-year-old glam gran & I love wearing leather – here’s my tip to looking young & it’s much simpler than you think
A GRANDMOTHER who loves getting dressed up has described herself as a ‘glam gran’.
The 92-year-old grandmother, known as Grandma Joan, explained that she loves wearing leather and has a wardrobe bursting at the seams of clothes.
Posting on social media, Grandma Joan proudly showed off one of her latest outfits.
Not only this, but she also revealed her simple tip to looking youthful - and it’s much simpler than you may think.
In a clip shared online, Grandma Joan said: “Hi everybody, I'm here again.
“I've been buying stuff again. I've just bought this skirt, this belt. I got this belt in Benidorm and the jacket in Benidorm, actually, because I love leather.

“I love leather jackets. I think they're really cute. And the skirt is suede.
“I got this jumper. I thought it matched perfectly with this fancy [embellishment] around the neck and I really liked it.
“So I hope you all like it. I'm gonna have to start modelling some clothes for you, because I do love clothes and I have loads of them.
“See, when I was younger, I used to make clothes. I made all my own dresses. I made the children's clothes as well, which helped a lot when having a lot of children.
“I just love clothes. I've got two wardrobes full of clothes. I'm gonna have to sell some because there's no room left now.”
At the same time, in another video, Grandma Joan revealed how she keeps her youthful looks.
A family member asked her: “Grandma, 92-years-old. Can you give us any tips on how to keep young? What's your tip of the day?”
To this, Grandma Joan explained: “The tip of the day, I would say just think young. Never, ever, think old.
“There’s nothing clever about growing old, so we just all wanna keep young for as long as we can.
“So just think young, never think old. You know, don't dress old. You don't have to.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @joansumner1930, has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed 23,900 views.
Social media users rushed to the comments, eager to compliment the Grandmother’s good looks.
One person said: “You look so cool and sophisticated, please model more, it’s great how you put outfits together.”
Another added: “You look amazing, it's a great outfit that looks fab on you.”
A third commented: “Looking good.”
Whilst someone else penned: “You look beautiful.”
