Prince Harry mocked in withering put-down by England rugby coach over duke’s private jet ‘hypocrisy’
PRINCE Harry was mocked by England's rugby coach and players - over his hypocritical stance on climate change.
No-nonsense former boss Eddie Jones rounded on Harry - as he watched a training session - and said: "How's climate change going mate? how was Elton John's jet?"
Aussie Jones - who headed England from 2015 to 2022 - ridiculed the Duke of Sussex after he attended a session and was allowed to speak to players.
He was referring to a Sun story which revealed Harry and Meghan had taken a private jet to Nice in August 2019.
They took the gas-guzzling jet although several commercial flights from London run each day.
After our story Sir Elton John chimed in and said they were visiting him and needed the jet for their security.

The Rocketman singer confirmed he provided the luxury 12-seater Cessna plane, that would have cost over £20,000 to hire, due to the couple's "high level of much-needed protection."
He launched his passionate defence of the couple on Twitter after photos emerged of them boarding a private jet with son Archie - despite frequently preaching about the environment.
The revelation was on the Speaking on the For the Love of Rugby podcast by England ace Ben Youngs.
Talking to teammate Dan Cole, he said: "You know Prince Harry used to come in a little bit and watch us train?
"I don't know what we call him now. All of his titles have gone haven't they?
"There was one time he was standing there and was saying something to the group and then Eddie was like, 'how's climate change going mate? how was Elton John's jet?
"That was quite good."
The pair both burst out laughing, before Ben - England's most capped player ever with 127 caps - said: "Just thrown Eddie under the bus there. And Prince Harry."
It comes as party girl Carrie Royale boasted that she has flogged a pair of Prince Harry’s pants for nearly £200,000.
The black boxers are believed to have been worn by the royal at a riotous Las Vegas party where he stripped naked.
They were snapped up at auction for $250,000 by San Diego strip club boss Dino Palmiotto.
Ex-dominatrix Carrie said she has never-before-seen pictures of Harry from the night in Sin City in 2012, adding: “What I can reveal will shock the public.”
PRINCE HARRY AND MEGHAN MARKLE'S JET-SETTING CARBON FOOTPRINT
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex travelled by private jet on their holidays in 2019, which generates an estimated seven times more emissions per person than commercial flights.
Their return Nice flight is estimated to have a carbon footprint of over three tons.
This is in addition to their Ibiza trip which is thought to have a footprint of over four tons.
A tree removes around seven tons of carbon dioxide from the air once fully grown - and this equates to the royal couple needing to plant one tree to offset their carbon footprint of their two trips this month.
The average UK person has a carbon footprint of 13 tons a year.
She spoke out as Chancellor Jeremy Hunt yesterday swelled pay packets with a two pence cut in National Insurance plus a freeze on fuel and booze duty.
Dino Palmiotto says the Duke of Sussex’s kecks are a piece of history from his playboy days — and will be a hit with tourists.
Ex-dominatrix Carrie, 52, claims flirty Harry wore the black undies when she kissed him at a Las Vegas party in 2012.
She says Harry, then 27, whipped them off as he danced with strippers and played air guitar with a pool cue in the buff.
Dino previously told The Sun he was bidding on the boxers because he’s a huge fan of the royal.
He said: “I want those underpants for my club. A shrine at my club is the perfect home for them."
