Oxford Street

The world-famous shopping street provides one of the city's best light displays every Christmas.

So if you find yourself shopping in the capital, you'll have a dazzling light display to get you in the festive mood.

With over 300,000 lights and an enormous Christmas tree on Trafalgar square that stands at over 20 metres tall, you won't be short of photo opportunities.

The Oxford Street Christmas lights will officially be returning on November 5, 2024.

Christmas at Killerton will feature a traditional Christmas experience that includes an enchanted decorated house, with an outdoor light trail which is guaranteed to wow the family.

The gardens and Chapel grounds will be covered in Christmas lights, making it the best location for a Christmas family photo so dress to impress.

Fairy-tale meets fantasy at the after-dark light trail in Bedgebury that includes a one-mile magical winter trail that all the family can appreciate this Christmas.

Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt takes place in the Hauptmarkt, the central square of Nuremberg's old town.

You can expect fields of light, lanterns that hang from trees and enormous colourful lily's that decorate the estate to provide the perfect Christmas warmth on a cold December day.

Christmas at Bedgebury runs from November 14, 2024 to December 31, 2024.

Wimpole, Royston

For Christmas 2024 at Wimpole, the mansion house will be decorated in lights for Christmas, with festive food and drinks available to warm the cockles while you take in the ambient local choirs singing Christmas carols.

Expect a light show filled with neon trees, larger than life flowers and a festive pea-lit tree.

You'll be sure to surround yourself with sparkle when you find the immersive glowing tunnels filled with light.

National Trust’s Belton House in Lincolnshire is bringing back their Illuminated Trail this year with thousands of lights to display.

Don't miss the 'carol of the bells' which will light up the sky with colour changing spheres of light and the triangular tunnel where moving lights, colours and patterns dance in time to the music.

Christmas at Belton runs from November 22, 2024 to January 1, 2025.

Mayfield park, Manchester

The Twilight Trail transforms Mayfield park into a spectacular field of festive light.

With over 50,000 lights and 6.5 acres of Christmas magic there's something for everyone.

From marsh mellows to fun fair rides for all ages, there promises to be plenty of activities at this light show.

Tickets are now on sale. Adult tickets priced at £14 and child tickets are £9, with under two-year-old's gaining free entry.

Bristol put on a festival of light that will whisk visitors through an historical wonderland with kings and queens, and a giant 12 metre clock.

This year’s Christmas lights Festival at Longleat includes a house light show in celebration of Longleat opening its doors 75 years ago.

Bristol boasts to housing Britain’s biggest singing Christmas tree.

But that's not all because this light show has a daytime winter safari and a boarding experience on the Santa train to meet Father Christmas and his elves.

The festival of light runs from November 9, 2024 to January 5, 2025.

The Light Before Christmas 2024: Starlight is back this year to put on another immersive sound and light installation by the acclaimed artistic collective Luxmuralis.

The cathedral will be transformed into a stunning canvas of light, sound, and storytelling.

It only runs for a day and guests for this light show will have to book in a advance.

The Light Before Christmas takes place on November 30, 2024.
