Harvey Weinstein ‘rushed to hospital for emergency heart surgery’ days before Hollywood monster due in court

HARVEY Weinstein has been hospitalized for emergency heart surgery.

The former film producer and convicted sex offender was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in New York City after experiencing chest pains at the Rikers Island jail facility where he is being held.

The emergency surgery comes as Weinstein is due in court this week in New York, per ABC affiliate WABC.

Weinstein has also been seen using a wheelchair in court since 2020.

The disgraced film producer also requested to continue to be held at Rikers where he has been given medical care.
