A LIVE Sky News broadcast was tonight interrupted by a protester shouting “free Palestine, f*** EDL”.

Anti-riot protesters have gathered outside a McDonald's in Bordesley Green, Birmingham, following nights of far-right riot chaos.

Mosques and homes in predominantly Muslim areas have been targets in last week's riots - sparked by online lies about murders of three girls in Southport last Monday.

In Birmingham tonight, members of the local community gathered to "protect property" and "defend their communities" amid fears over another night of violence from far-right thugs.

During Sky News' live broadcast, presenter Becky Johnson was interrupted by a masked protester who sped up behind her on a motorbike.

He shouted "yo, free Palestine, f*** the EDL" in the terrifying clip.
