We’re a Christmas-mad family and have visited santa in Lapland five times in a year – we know how to do it on a budget
A CHRISTMAS-mad family is on course to visit Santa in Lapland five times within a year.
Emma Williams, 39, and husband Adam, 38, went in December last year, January and February.
They returned with two of their four children, Ellie, 13, and Jensen, eight, for a one-night budget trip in October, with a further visit planned just after Christmas.
Printing company boss Emma, of Solihull, West Midlands, said: “We’re totally addicted.”
The DIY trip was £600 in total - a snip compared to their first visit, which cost them a whopping £5,500 for three nights.
Now the mum-of-four is already looking forward to another trip there close to Christmas - and a fifth trip planned for the New Year.

Emma said: "All my friends call me Mrs Christmas.
"Our first trip there was a bucket list holiday for us, it was something I'd always wanted to do. We paid over £5k and it was worth every penny.
“Once I'd done it I was like 'I need to do this again' but I thought 'I can't pay that every year'.
“Since then we've done it on a budget. When I saw the flights had dropped I thought ‘let's do it’. It was half term and a day out here would be not far off that."
For their 24-hour 3,000 mile-round trip, Emma, project manager hubby Adam, 38, and children Ellie, 13, and Jensen, eight, landed in Rovaniemi at 9.45pm and checked into a £63 hotel for the night.
They went to Santa Claus Village and visited Father Christmas and then walked alpacas, saw some reindeers and went on a sleigh ride.
For lunch they roasted supermarket sausages on fires dotted around the village and explored the village before enjoying a slap-up Finnish meal, toasting marshmallows on open fires and jetting home.
