And the Coronation Street star definitely isn't being given an easy ride by Colin, 32, who she has branded "relentless".

Appearing on Monday's This Morning, Claire told Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle: "He’s lovely.

"Colin is so patient and kind - he’s relentless though. He doesn’t give me a minute, I can’t be running out. Even when I want to shoot to the toilet, he’s looking at me like ‘you’re lying’."

Claire also opened up about suffering accidents on the ice and confessed she has found it hard to get back up again at times.

She said: "What’s interesting about the ice is that you have falls when you least expect it.

"It’s not only a physical thing, it’s a mental thing. So when I fall - I put my shoulder out the other week and I done my wrist in - it’s getting the confidence [back]. The ice is unforgiving."

Claire previously told how she was left 'hyperventilating' after an accident during training.

She told: "I went down really hard on my knees.

“I was hyperventilating for a bit and they let me go to the toilet.

"I just had a little ‘get myself together’ then went back out.”

Asked how she is juggling training with playing Cassandra Plummer in Corrie, she said: “I’m filming one day this week, two days next week and two days the week after.

“I’m not sure what the schedule is after that, or whether I’ll stay in the competition."
