‘Absolutely ridiculous!’ rant Coronation Street fans as two close characters ‘have no contact in MONTHS’
CORONATION Street fans have been left fuming as two characters once inseparable have had no contact 'in months'.
Viewers of the long-running ITV soap were left delighted when Lucy Fallon reperised her role as Bethany Platt.
The journalist had left the cobbles for a career in London, saying goodbye to her best pal Craig Tinker and love interest Daniel Osborne.
Since returning to Coronation Street fans have watched as Bethany and Daniel have rekindled their romance.
However, eagle-eyed fans have noticed since her return she's had 'no contact' with her apparent best pal Craig.
Both characters were close and even dated for a brief period before remaining friends.

Posting on social media, one fan said: "Weren't they very close before? Why has there been no catch up, did I blink and miss something?"
A second wrote: "You didn't miss anything, but the useless writers/producer have. It's absolutely ridiculous that Bethany has been back 2 months and not had one scene with Craig."
"Craig was there for her, very good close friends. Then they got together. I was rooting for him / them," said a third.
While a fourth commented: "Isn't it down to cost cutting? Unless a character is absolutely necessary for a plot they seem to disappear for weeks on end."
Meanwhile, Colson Smith, the actor behind police officer Craig, is currently taking part in ITV's rebooted series of Celebrity Big Bother.
His appearance sparked concern amongst Corrie fans that he could depart the show for good.
However, The Sun revealed he is firmly staying on the cobbles after signing a brand new contract with execs.
