Ten hag loves Utd's fight
Erik ten Hag loved his players' fight in their 0-0 draw against Liverpool at Anfield.
He told Sky Sports: “You have to fight always for the badge. We have had very high highs and also sometimes very low lows. If you want to achieve something in a season you can’t be below certain limits so we have to get the consistency.
“This was a very good performance, you saw Liverpool’s results at home and we got a clean sheet. In the second half, we had some very good chances, then you can take the points from here but we are pleased with the performance of the team.
“The way we defended it was almost perfect. When we made a mistake there was always a team-mate to sort it out. I think that is the big win from today, we have to keep this and bring this every game.
“Always you have to fight for each other. At Manchester United it is always the same - us against the rest.”

Alaba blow
Man Utd were said to be plotting a move for David Alaba.
A move in the summer was potentially touted for a fee of around £51million.
However, the player has suffered a serious looking injury on Sunday evening against Villarreal.
It appears to be a very serious knee injury.

Guirassy boost
Man Utd have reportedly been speaking with Stuttgart over the signing of Serhou Guirassy.
The striker has been in phenomenal form in the Bundesliga, and could be available for as low as £15million, as per an agreement in his contract.
However, a move to Borussia Dortmund has been ruled out.
According to Sky Sports Germany, the German side are not a serious option for Guirassy.

Dalot madness
Man Utd fans were as furious as Diogo Dalot after the defender's bizarre red card at Liverpool.
The right-back was sent off for two yellow cards in five seconds - both for dissent - after protesting over a stoppage-time throw during a 0-0 draw.
Viewers argued Dalot was correct with his complaint but referee Michael Oliver dismissed him for remonstrating fiercely and repeating the offence.
United somehow nicked a point despite Liverpool amassing 34 efforts on goal at Anfield.
But fans were as amazed by Dalot's "joke" sending-off as they were by Jurgen Klopp's Reds failing to score.
One observer posted: "Wait!! Was he given a yellow twice for dissent? English refs have lost their minds."

McTominay's brilliant decision
Fans found a "genius" flip side to Scott McTominay's tough first game skippering Erik ten Hag's Manchester United.
Viewers criticised the midfielder for poor passing in United's 0-0 draw at Liverpool - but believe he made a brilliant decision before kick-off.
McTominay was named captain for Sunday's Premier League trip due to usual skipper Bruno Fernandes being banned and former leader Harry Maguire sitting it out injured.
And Red Devils' supporters reckon the Scot made a super smart move after winning the coin toss.
McTominay chose to shoot towards away fans in the first half.
That meant Liverpool would do the same in the second period - rather than roar forward in the direction of their noisiest fans.

Ten hag reacts to Van Dijk's comments
Erik ten Hag has reacted to Virgil Van Dijk's claims that Liverpool were the only team trying to win their game against Man Utd.
"It's his opinion," Ten Hag said. "We should have taken more of the ball regains three or four passes in where we are capable of and then we could have even hurt the opponent even more.
"But all over in the end, you have to conclude, we had the best chances from open play for Rasmus Hojlund and Garnacho.
"After the ball regains, we know they have a strong counter press but we need to keep the ball again, three or four passes in, get a switch in. And in such moments you can hurt them like we did with the chances for Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund in the second half."

Ten hag yet to meet investors
Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag has revealed he is yet to meet INEOS investors.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe is set to invest in the club next week.
Sir Dave Brailsford, INEOS' director of sport, has visited Carrington and Old Trafford for various meetings.
Yet, ten Hag hasn't met with the figures.
He said: "I can’t say anything about it. There are others in this club who are dealing with the strategic review, so I’m just waiting. I’m focusing on my job, which is performing with the team and developing the team."

Reguilon blow
Sergio Reguilon could be set to. leave Old Trafford in January.
The Spaniard has played 10 times for Man Utd on loan from Tottenham.
However, the Daily Mirror claim that Borussia Dortmund have made an enquiry about the full-back.
They also say he has a break clause in his contract, so he could move when the window opens.

Keane's Van Dijk rant
Roy Keane has accused Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk of disrespecting Manchester United in a stunning rant.
The bitter rivals played out a boring 0-0 draw at Anfield this afternoon, a result which did neither team any favours in their respective pursuits.
Van Dijk was far from happy with United's tactics in the match - after which he took a swipe at Red Devils keeper Ande Onana - and essentially accused them of parking the bus.
The Dutchman said: "There was only one team trying to win the game but unfortunately it did not happen.
"We were superior in all aspects, they were hoping to hurt us on the counter and they are buzzing with a point."
The centre-back's comments didn't sit well with United icon Keane, who reminded him of Liverpool's shortcomings in the league over the last 30 years in a stunning rant - in which he accused the Dutch defender of "arrogance".

Van Dijk takes cheeky swipe at Onana
Virgil Van Dijk reportedly aimed a swipe at Andre Onana after Manchester United's 0-0 draw at Liverpool.
talkSPORT claims the incident occurred in the tunnel after the full-time whistle.
The Dutchman is said to have approached United goalkeeper Onana in the tunnel as the players made their way to their repective dressing rooms.
It's alleged Van Dijk then said to his opponent: "Because of you we only played a half hour game."
However, Onana is said to have delivered the perfect response.
Rather than rising to the remark, the Cameroon star simply smiled back at Van Dijk before heading off.

Jadon Sancho AND Donny van de Beek could leave Man Utd for a bargain fee, according to reports.
The England winger has been frozen out by Eirk ten Hag after a row with the Dutch tactician.
While the former Ajax midfielder has been suggested for a move to Eintracht Frankfurt.
But now, Football365 citing Nacional have claimed that United have offered the pair to Barcelona for a potential £34.3millon fee.

Ten hag should get time
Gary Neville believes Erik ten Hag should get until the end of the season at OId Trafford, after speculation he may lose his job.
"I think the manager should get to the end of the season, definitely," Neville told Sky Sports before the Liverpool game. "It’s the right thing to do, but my concern is that he doesn’t do anything different for the big games away from home.
"He’s continued to play the same kind of football and today, if he sends them out in the same style with man-to-man marking, open midfield, they’ll get absolutely killed. He has a responsibility to put them out there in a shape that gives them a chance - for me, that’s a 5-4-1 or a 4-5-1 which’d be very solid.
"[Jose] Mourinho did that here, [Louis]Van Gaal as well. Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] did it in big games and Ten Hag hasn’t demonstrated that he’s willing to change for big games."

Onana 'unhappy'
Andre Onana has laughed off claims he has become a terrible goalkeeper - but admitted he is unhappy with his form.
"If I have to speak about my season so far for Manchester United, I am not happy because I know I can do much much better, I've done it and I know I will do it better than what is happening now,” Onana told Sky Sports.
“We are not facing a good moment. I hope things will change as soon as possible.
“But listen, you want to tell me in six months the best goalkeeper in the Champions League last season can become the worst in the world? Nah.
“Everything is temporary. I know it'll be alright. If not today, it will be tomorrow, if not tomorrow, the day after tomorrow.”

MANCHESTER UNITED fans fear another thrashing at Liverpool after Erik ten Hag made a "sackable offence" by naming 35-year-old defender Jonny Evans in today's starting XI.
The Red Devils travel to Anfield for the first time since last season's 7-0 thrashing.
But some United supporters reckon their arch-rivals could be scoring eight today after Evans was handed a shock start on Merseyside.
The veteran centre-back rejoined his boyhood club on a free transfer over the summer, eight years after getting the boot to West Brom.
Despite initially seen as an emergency back-up option, Evans has gone on to make 11 appearances this term - including eight in the league.

Fifa chiefs unveiled the official criteria for the 12 European sides eligible to take part in the 32-team event in the USA in 2025.

Yor not confident
Dwight Yorke is not feeling hopeful about United's chances at Liverpool this afternoon.
So much so that he will have his "fingers crossed" because the Red Devils need a huge stroke of fortune to shock Jurgen Klopp's rampant Reds.
Treble-winner Yorke told InstantCasino.com: "With Man United losing to both Bayern and Bournemouth, the morale around the dressing room won't be positive ahead of the Liverpool clash. That's not the ideal to prepare for a game of that magnitude.
“I'm not saying United aren't capable of defying the odds and getting a result at Anfield. The Premier League has been so unpredictable this season.
“I'll keep my fingers crossed. It'll be a difficult one for United, but football has a way of kicking you in the teeth and proving you wrong. I won't get ahead of myself.”
