Coronation Street fans upset as fan favourite tricked into quitting the cobbles
CORONATION Street fans are devastated after Ryan Connor was manipulated into quitting the cobbles.
The personal trainer - who is played by actor Ryan Prescott in the ITV soap - was on top of the world after landing his dream social media job in a fancy gym.
But with an offer to move to Glasgow with girlfriend Crystal on the table, Ryan was confused but ultimately decided to stay in Weatherfield.
The chance of being with affair partner Daisy Midgeley was only a small part of it so when her boyfriend Daniel Osbourne discovered the truth about their relationship, things took a turn.
After overhearing Ryan celebrating landing the job and how it means that he has a future in Weatherfield, Daniel took drastic action.
Pretending he had a work emergency, he left Daisy alone and headed straight for the gym.

Summoning the manager, he laid out Ryan’s use of steroids and other dodgy behaviour, telling her Ryan would be a disaster for the gym and she should rethink hiring him.
And that’s what she did - pulling the job offer but not telling him why.
When even Carla couldn’t get it out of them, Ryan gave up and was broken by losing his dream job.
So he settled for a new life with Crystal instead.
However Ryan decided to keep the truth from Crystal and lied to her that it simply didn’t work out.
He said: “It’s a non-starter. Weatherfield’s not for me, not anymore. I need a fresh start, a new challenge. I reckon we make a pretty good team…”
Shrieking with joy, Crystal said: “Are you messing? We make an amazing team! Glasgow here we come!”
Daniel lurked behind them, thrilled that his manipulations had worked but fans are in shock that Ryan will be leaving.
One wrote: "Would Daniel be looking so smug about Ryan going away with Crystal if he knew Daisy had told him that she loves them both?"
A second said: "Devious Daniel Makes Me Mad Hope Daisy Leaves You?"
Another added: "Daniel should focus on Daisy and her wishy washy behaviour, not making Ryan’s life a misery. At the end of the day Daisy lead him on."
