He's a really really good player. He's got an unbelievable attitude. He's been at the club since the age of eight. He performs so well on a daily basis, does everything right. I think he's got a good chance.

Ow no
Jurgen Klopp will have to deal without another defensive minded player for the trip to Arsenal today.
Owen Beck is unavailable for the Emirates clash as he is serving a one-match ban which relates to his time in Scotland.
Beck picked up yellow cards in the Scottish League Cup matches against Bonnyrigg Rose and Inverness Caledonian Thistle last July.

A new work of Art
Alll eyes will be on Mikel Arteta's men as they welcome Liverpool to the Emirates TODAY and the boss believes there should be a major change in the FA Cup schedule.
When asked if the Football Association should consider pulling the plug on replays, Arteta, whose side will also contest a rejigged Champions League next season if they finish in the top four, said:
Arteta said: "We will see what happens because with the new format of the Champions League, there will be more games (to play) so I don't know how we are going to fit them in.
"The (mini) break will be minimal and we have plans for both scenarios. We want to win the game and we will try to win the game, but that (cancelling replays) has to be considered."

Awful kit-clash...
Fans were left fuming by an awful kit-clash in the Wear-tyne derby between Newcastle and Sunderland.
Both teams were wearing their stripey home kits, red and white and black and white respectively, but fans could hardly tell the difference.
It was the first time the rivals had met in the last eight years, and Newcastle clearly had no trouble spotting their own players on the pitch as they stormed to a 3-0 victory in a full-blooded clash.

Newcastle cruise past Sunderland
It was a full-blooded game as Newcastle made the short trip to Sunderland for the Wear-tyne derby.
A Daniel Ballard own-goal in the 35th minute broke the deadlock, before Alexander Isak doubled the scoring on the 46th minute.
He then added a second at the death to secure his brace and wrap up the game.
It was business as expected for Newcastle, and the Champions League side showed their class against Championship opposition.

Villa snatch a winner against Boro
Aston Villa snatched a last-gasp winner against Carabao Cup semi-finalists Middlesbrough thanks to Matty Cash.
Cash scored in the 87th minute to finally get the better of the hosts to earn his side a first win in the FA Cup since 2016 at a rocking Riverside stadium.
Villa were dominant throughout, and felt they should have had a penalty earlier in the game, but eventually got past their tough Championship opposition.

Chelsea hammer Preston
It was not as straight forward as the result showed for Chelsea, as the game went into half-time goalless, with the hosts missing a few chances.
However, their fortune changed in the second half, after Armando Broja opened the scoring with a header inside the box.
The floodgates opened after that, and Thiago Silva doubled the scoring with a header from a corner, assisted by star boy Cole Palmer.
Sterling then made it three, with a Cristiano Ronaldo-esque free-kick which was struck perfectly into the top left corner.
Enzo Fernandez added the fourth with a tap in that was given onside only after a lengthy VAR review.

Chelsea's man of the match award today for us goes to Raheem Sterling.
He was relentless in causing problems for the opposition defence, and created numerous chances, particularly in the second half once Preston started to tire.
