Emmerdale fans go wild as TWO villagers make epic returns during explosive Jacob and Eric row
EMMERDALE fans went wild as TWO villagers returned tonight - as Jacob and Eric clashed.
Jacob hasn't told his granddad that he is in love with Victoria, his dad David's ex, and that their relationship triggered David's departure from the village late last year.
But tonight, Victoria returned and surprised Jacob in the Hop, just as Gabby Thomas had got her wires crossed and thought he fancied her.
Jacob and Victoria told Gabby they were a couple, before deciding to finally come clean to Eric and Jacob's mum Leyla, something they weren't looking forward to.
They were right to be nervous, as the pair did not take the news well when the couple sat them down in the pub later.
Leyla stormed out, while Eric was reeling from the fact they has prompted David's departure just days after he had told him about his Parkinsons diagnosis.

Brenda encouraged Eric to speak to Jacob, and visiting the couple at Victoria's house, he implored his grandson to call his dad and try and make amends.
But despite David answering the call, he soon told Eric to tell Jacob and Victoria that he "hated them for what they had done", before hanging up.
Turning to them, Eric said: "I think it's fair to say that forgiveness and reconciliation is still some way off.
"All this upset...I sincerely hope it's worth it."
Victoria wasn't the only villager to return to Emmerdale tonight, as Sam Dingle got a shock when wife Lydia walked through to door of their cottage, having spent Christmas away.
While Sam wasn't sure how to welcome his wife following recent events, Lydia later reassured Sam by getting hold of his hand and giving him a big smile.
Emmerdale viewers took to X - formerly Twitter - to react to the two women returning.
One hit out: "Victoria and Jacob make me GAG they’re so gross."
Another disgusted fan added: "I think the writers need to stop with this Victoria and Jacob story, it's a massive ick."
However, viewers were a little happier to see Lydia, with one exclaiming: "Lydia is back, hurray!"
