Drivers only just realising what secret dashboard button does – and it could save hundreds
A SECRET button that could help prevent car thefts has been revealed by a car fanatic.
TikToker Kevin Herrera has posted the strange button he found in his Corvette in an attempt to figure out what it does.
The hidden button, to the bottom left of his steering wheel, had triangles and the word "off" on it..
In the video, he says: "I look down here, almost towards my feet and I saw this.
"Like, I really don't know what this is."
The TikToker was confused as to the purpose of the button even after pressing it.

Kevin said: "I wanted to do it while I was driving but I have no idea what it does, so at the same time I didn't."
After pressing the button he says: "So it says motion sensor off."
Kevin added: "I really don't know what that means, cause this car does not have any parking sensors."
Kevin ended the video by asking his 36,000 followers for information on this secret button.
Viewers left different answers as to the purpose of the hidden button.
One user wrote: "Maybe cruise control - automatically slows you down when you get to close to a car."
While another person wrote: "Side mirror indicator.
Others were quick to poke fun at Kevin with one person commenting: "It means you're not ready for a big boy car just mess."
With another writing: "Bro, why does no one know how to read an owners manual anymore."
However, it seems a couple viewers were able to help Kevin figure out what this secret button does.
One user wrote: "It's basically if you have your hard top off it's supposed to alert you of someone tries to open the car from the inside as far as ik."
While another viewer confrimed this by commenting: "It's when you have yout top off and lock your car - if someone tries to reach in there apparently your alarn will go off our c8 has it."
