WITH the cost-of-living crisis affecting households up and down the country, it's little surprise some people are struggling to pay their rent.
But one savvy man has come up with a genius way to live rent-free...by moving into an unused garage on his parents' land and transforming it into a super stylist tiny home.
In a clip shared to TikTok (@stanwilkinss), Stan explained how he took the plunge and explained: "I moved out of my two-bedroom apartment moved into an unfinished storage shed.
"Now I live rent-free in my luxury tiny home."
And for anyone who needs convincing, the proud DIY whizz was only too happy to take his social media followers on a tour of his new humble above.
Showing off his very impressive handiwork, he begins by sharing a snap of the unfinished storage shed, which features a wooden floor and appears to have been previously used as a storage space.

But after some hard work and determination, Stan reveals the finished results of his new living room, which features a large cream L-shaped sofa, light blue walls, shelves with plants, and even a mounted television on the wall.
Meanwhile, the open plan kitchen has cream cupboards, an oven and hob, and all of the cooking utensils needed to rustle up a tasty meal.
Walking down the hallway, you then arrive at Stan's bathroom, which includes a toilet, basin and spacious curved shower - not to mention plenty of storage.
And last but not least is his bedroom, which continues the light blue theme, has a double bed and boasts another mounted TV on the wall.
Stan captioned the post: "Never looked back."
It wasn't long before the post went viral, racking up over 926k views and hundreds of comments, with many quick to praise Stan for his genius idea.
"Looks really nice. Tiny man cave. Rent free is were it is nowadays. Great job!" praised one.
