  • Zubimendi's move to Gunners in doubt?

    It had been recently reported that Arsenal had met Martin Zubimendi's release clause of £50.5m, and a deal seemed all but confirmed, subject to a medical.

    The midfielder revealed in a recent interview with Radio Nacional de Espana, that his future is still undecided.

    Zubimendi said: "Of course there are options, but it’s true that it seems like it’s going to be a different, long summer, and I don’t know how it will end.

    "I don’t think thinking about it right now is my priority. I’m here with the national team, which I think is already quite demanding, and if I have to say something, then I will."

  • Raya: ‘That’s where I hit rock bottom’

    David Raya has opened up on the lowest point of his Arsenal career in an honest interview with former England goalkeeper Ben Foster.

    Raya, 29, has been one of the Premier League's top shot-stoppers since his move to North London, winning consecutive Golden Glove awards in between the sticks at the Emirates Stadium.

    But the Spaniard revealed that it hasn't always been easy, explaining that a poor game against Luton Town last season made him hit "rock bottom".

    Even though Arsenal won the game 4-3, thanks to a late Declan Rice header, Raya was left feeling that his performance was the worst of his career - shipping three goals against the newly promoted outfit.

    He told Fozcast: "It was a turning point against Luton. That game was one of the worst games I ever played and that's where I hit rock bottom.

    "From there, the only way was up with changing my habits and trying to change my mindset.

    "From that game, I said, 'Listen, this is not me.' I think there's been a massive change from there."

    Viktor Gyökeres has withdrawn from the Sweden squad due to a 'minor injury'

    He will therefore miss the friendly matches against Hungary and Algeria.

    The rumour mill continues to swirl around Gyökeres, with Arsenal and Atlético Madrid circling.

    Arsenal target Roony Bardghji could be set for a move this summer.

    The winger is set to leave Copenhagen after emerging as one of Europe's most promising talents.

    He could now make a move to the Premier League with Arsenal.

  • Rice nabs accolade

    Declan Rice has been named in the Champions League Team of the Tournament.

    The midfielder played a crucial role as the Gunners reached the semi-finals of the competition.

    He was named in the team alongside the likes of PSG stars Gianluigi Donnarumma and Desire Doue as well as Barcelona pair Lamine Yamal and Raphinha.

    PM Kier Starmer has urged Arsenal to sign a striker this summer.

    He told Sky Sports: "This team this year has been fantastic. There is the making of a really good team.

    "We just need a bit extra. I think one or two extra players and a striker is one that leaps out.

    "The back four is pretty good, but it is that upfront striker role that we need to add there."

  • United 'must sign Arsenal target'

    Manchester United legend Mikael Silvestre has urged the club to sign Sporting Lisbon star and Arsenal target Viktor Gyokeres after missing out on Liam Delap.

    The Swedish striker has been on the list of the Gunners as they look to boost their own firepower ahead of next season.

    He told Esports Insider: "It’s a shame Man United were beaten to Liam Delap by Chelsea.

    "In terms of other options, there’s Viktor Gyokeres, who could be a solution for them.

    "He worked together with Ruben Amorim at Sporting Lisbon, so he knows the system and what is required from him as a striker in that setup.

    "I think he ticks a lot of boxes for Man United and Amorim.

    "He’s not a young player anymore – he’s got a lot of experience playing in Europe, so it would make sense for the club to get him on board."

  • Lewis-Skelly update

    Arsenal are confident Myles Lewis-Skelly will sign a long-term deal this summer.

    The full-back has cooled Real Madrid links by reiterating his love for the club and his desire to win “back-to-back” trophies in North London.

    Lewis-Skelly, 18, signed his first senior contract back in October 2023.

    It expires next summer - and Spanish giants Madrid are reportedly monitoring the situation, having already snapped up Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool on a free transfer.

    But SunSport understands the club are calm over talks, which began in January, and hope to finalise the terms of his new bumper deal before pre-season begins next month.

  • Chelsea eye Gittens

    Chelsea are reportedly keen on signing Arsenal target and Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens.

    Sky Sports have claimed that the Blues could reignite their interest in the star after failing to sign him in January.

    Dortmund value the ace at £50million despite him falling down the pecking order before the end of the season.

    The Gunners had previously been linked with Gittens as extra depth in the wide areas.

    Arsenal look set to miss out on the signing of former Manchester City star Julien Alvarez.

    The Gunners had been linked with a move for the Atletico Madrid striker in a bid to boost their attacking options.

    However, he appears set to remain in LaLiga according to Atletico president Enrique Cerezo.

    He told Marca: "Julian Alvarez is an Atletico Madrid player and will be an Atletico Madrid player."

  • Paz blow

    Arsenal are reportedly set to miss out on midfield target Nico Paz.

    The Argentine star has impressed in Serie A with Como under the management of Cesc Fabregas.

    Brighton have slapped a whopping £70million price tag on striker Joao Pedro.

    Interest in the Brazilian, 23, has heightened as it appears the Seagulls are willing to do business.

    Martinez has been linked with a shock return to the Emirates in recent months.

    The Gunners are expected to move for the Aston Villa shot stopper if they lose David Raya to Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid.

    Arsenal will have 12 players out on international duty this month, with two stars eyeing silverware.

    Mikel Merino and David Raya will be looking to help Spain successfully defend their Nations League title after lifting the trophy in 2023.

    The Frenchman has scored 15 and provided eight assists this season in the German top flight.

    Frankfurt are said to be holding out for more than £80million for Ekitike's services.

    The Times claim that Chelsea are also considering a move for the striker this summer.

    With Bryan Mbeumo reportedly wanting to join Manchester United, the Gunners will have to look elsewhere this summer.

    Nico Williams has been linked for a number of months with Mikel Arteta said to be a big fan of the 21-year-old.

    The winger has a £50m release clause in his current contract at Athletic Bilbao, but has high wage demands and is also attracting interest from Real Madrid.

    Arsenal have also been linked with a move for former Manchester City winger Leroy Sane.

    The German is out of contract at Bayern Munich in the summer and a switch to North London could be a wise move for both parties.
