I live in America’s North Pole and it’s festive all year, we have Santa’s house, reindeer & Christmas trees everywhere

WHEN you live in Santa's backyard, the holiday takes on a whole new - and way merrier - meaning.

And the festiveness doesn't come to an end even after the Christmas season is over.

"Things in North Pole, Alaska that just make sense," said Burgenne (@burgenne).

First up in this festive wonderland: candy canes everywhere.

The Christmas candies could be seen coming down from all the lamps and posts - even the McDonald's sign was held up by a candy cane structure.

And you don't just get your coffee at Starbucks in Santa's hometown - you go to the Polar Espresso, of course.

The quaint red coffee shop was all you needed to start the day off on the right - and extra festive - foot.

Next up on this tour of the North Pole was the Santa Claus house itself.

"There's murals on all the walls and you can actually go inside and sit on Santa's lap and there's Christmas trees literally everyone," she explained.

One excited follower realized that the answer to life's greatest question had indeed been answered.

"So Santa is real," she exclaimed.

St. Nick's digs were indeed full of Christmasy delight.

And don't forget to stop and say hello to the 42-foot statue of Santa where he can look down on his holiday feeling hometown.

But he wasn't the only famous resident around.

The dog mom paid a visit to the antler academy where you can meet some of Santa's reindeer sidekicks, including Prancer and Dancer.

Don't just take her word for it - their names can be found on the animals' harnesses.

The North pole resident even got to pet the sleigh driving reindeer.

"Wait this is so cool," shared one impressed viewer.

Another was ready to pack her bags: "I might just have to move."

"OK, but this is year-round decorations yes," another merry watcher chimed in.

"Obsessed," was all another could say about the cheerful town.
