Matty Healy ‘engaged’ to girlfriend Gabbriette Bechtel months after Taylor Swift romance
THE 1975 frontman Matty Healy is "engaged" to girlfriend Gabbriette Bechtel.
The model and performer, 26, showed off a huge black ring on social media and wrote: "‘MARRYING THE 1975 IS VERY BRAT.’"
Gabbriette tagged Healy, 35, into her post, which was put out after she watched pal Charli XCX's Brat tour in New York.
Indie rocker Healy re-shared the post, seemingly confirming the happy news.
The couple, who have been dating since September, have looked smitten on social media in recent weeks and were pictured hanging out with Traitors winner Harry Clark behind the scene's of Healy's O2 Arena gig in London.
Healy spent last summer recuperating from dating Taylor Swift and the media scrutiny that came along with the relationship.

Gabbriette, is an American model, musician, and social media personality.
She is the lead vocalist and songwriter of the punk rock band Nasty Cherry.
The fashionista is known for her goth-inspired, 90's grunge aesthetic, which helped her gain the attention of her agency, IMG Models.
She is also known for her famous cooking and baking videos, which she posts on Instagram and TikTok.
The duo have never confirmed how they met, though it may be between their fellow bandmates.
The 1975's drummer, George Daniel, is engaged to Nasty Cherry's founder and band member, Charlie XCX.
Before dating Healy, Gabbriette was linked to fellow model Levi Dylan, Bob Dylan's grandson.
Healy caused a media frenzy when he was spotted being driven to and from Swift's stadium shows and her home base in Nashville, Tennessee, in May 2023.
He even joined his friend and Eras tour opener, Phoebe Bridgers, on stage during the second Nashville show.
The duo were spotted several times throughout May in New York City, holding hands, hugging, and kissing.
Still, as quickly as their whirlwind romance began, it also ended just as fast.
By June 2023, Healy and Swift had parted ways and haven't been seen together since.
Swift's new album, The Tortured Poets Department, is regarded by fans as being inspired by her relationships with ex-fiancé Joe Alwyn and Healy.
The title track's lyrics read: "You smoked and ate seven bars of chocolate / We declared Charlie Puth should be a bigger artist.

Fans are convinced the mus is Healy, who has plenty of tattoos and has a song with The 1975 titled Chocolate.
