A MINDBOGGLING brainteaser inspired by animal antics has left puzzlers at a loss.

The photograph was snapped by an individual exploring nature in Japan.

It became a mind-bender after many people failed to spot the animal hidden in plain sight.

There has been an increase in wildlife sightings in unexpected places since the warmer spring days arrived.

But, you’ll need 20/20 vision to find the creature among the leaves in seven seconds or less.

Everyone can see the leaves growing alongside the tall grass after being left unkept.

There are also countless shadows in every area where you’d expect an animal to lurk.

You’ll overlook the creature if you don’t keep your eyes peeled.

At first glance, it’s easy to spot the backpacks as they seem to be owned by every explorer in the brainteaser.

There is also just one group roasting marshmallows, and one person stargazing beside their tent.

Here’s a hint: The shoes are the same color as the tree bark.
